The USA Diving Olympic Team will use Sheffield International Venues' Ponds Forge pool as its training base for the London 2012 Games.
"It’s a great honour to host the United States diving squad, and the city will benefit from increased recognition and investment," said Yorkshire South Tourism business tourism manager Emma France.
The Serbian Olympic squad has also announced that it will use Sheffield and Leeds venues for training during the Games.
