Dippy Emma had already been separated from the other 'Big Brother' contestants following last week's trouble, where security guards had to restore order in the house after she and Michelle emerged from the secret bedsit on Wednesday.
Emma was put straight back into the bedsit after Wednesday night's anarchy, which saw Victor threatening to kill her over perceived racist comments. This led to a police investigation, which resulted in Emma being interviewed by officers who have studied tapes of the show.
Although police were satisfied with what they saw, Channel 4 and 'Big Brother' makers Endemol said they had pulled Emma out because of fears of more violence.
A spokeswoman for Channel 4 said: "We believe this is the best course of action to ensure the welfare and safety of all the housemates, including Emma."
She added: "The house is calm as all the other housemates appear to be working through their issues, but we're concerned that Emma's return might increase the risk of a repeat incident. Emma has accepted our decision."
Emma was compared with former contestant Jade Goody, although during the trouble on Wednesday night Emma denied that she was "thick" like Goody, who she continued to mistakenly call Jade Goodyear.
On Friday, Channel 4 cancelled the planned eviction following the Wednesday night's violence, which led to the programme being taken off E4 for an hour as order was restored.
Channel 4 said that the votes already cast in last week's eviction will still count and will be carried over to this week. The two contestants up for eviction are South African former model Vanessa and gay hairdresser Dan, with Vanessa being the bookies' favourite for the chop.
In more trouble for programme makers, Professor David Wilson, a criminologist advising 'Big Brother', quit the show after he said his advice was going unheeded. He has compared the housemates with football hooligans.
"I realised that my advice hadn't been listened to, it was at that point I thought I should go. I was simply not prepared to lend my credibility to what was happening," he said.
The news of Emma's departure was greeted gleefully by rivals in the house. Victor told Stuart that the exit of the 20-year-old from Oldham was a "result".
Daniel, Michelle, and Stuart are favourites at 3-1 to win the show, while former asylum seeker Ahmed is the 50-1 outsider.
