Ahmed and Michelle up for eviction from Big Brother

LONDON – The first nominees for eviction from the 'Big Brother' house are understood to be former asylum seeker Ahmed and Michelle, who has been vilified in the media since her sexual dalliances with floppy-haired student Stuart.

The nominations, which have not yet been confirmed by Channel 4 but were reported earlier today in the Daily Mirror, come after Ahmed was reported to have received seven votes, with Michelle gaining four.

Ladbrokes earlier today made Ahmed the 4/7 favourite for the boot but the bookmaker's spokesman Warren Lush is unsurprised that Michelle, 4/1, is also one of the first to be nominated.

He said: "One half of a couple never does well in the 'Big Brother' house, all they do is end up alienating people in the house and the audience at home."

Since the exit of self-proclaimed political activist Kitten last week due to her own rule breaking, the media has switched attention to Michelle.

Last week, she and Stuart were thought to have been the first couple to have sex on the show. Michelle later denied this but nevertheless her persistent sexual advances towards Stuart have attracted the majority of negative headlines.

This included a report in The Sun today detailing comments from her family, describing her behaviour as "shameful".

While Michelle's lewd tactics appeared to have backfired in her attempts to win the show, Jason has emerged as an early frontrunner due to his more friendly nature.

The Scottish bodybuilder is now 4/1 second favourite to win, according to Ladbrokes, after entering the house as a 16/1 outsider. Daniel remains favourite at 3/1.
