EMS has managed the roadshow since 2009, targeting UK regions considered to be most at risk of heart disease.
"We want our roadshow to catch as many people as possible before they realise they have a problem," said BHF project manager Deborah Auty. "Our evaluation of the campaign is that the interventions we are delivering on board the unit are having an impact."
A total of 46,022 people most at risk of developing cardiovascular disease have had direct contact with the roadshow campaign. Of those, 21,690 have completed an on-board lifestyle check with a BHF heart health adviser, and 61% of that figure have gone on to join Heart Matters.
The campaign is currently on tour in the West Midlands and will visit Northern Ireland for three months from 9 May.
