Sodexo Prestige Scotland will provide catering for up to 5,000 members of the public, a gala dinner for 400, corporate hospitality for 200, members’ catering for 800 and a members’ event for 600 guests.
The Walker Cup is run by the world’s golf governing body, The R&A, who Sodexo Prestige Scotland has worked with previously on the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews in 2010 and the 2010 Senior’s Open.
"This gives my team an excellent opportunity to use our diverse range of skills to deliver this exciting event," said Prestige Scotland regional director Austin Tilsley.
"We will be using our pool of staff from Aberdeen Football Club to help deliver the event and, furthermore, we will be working with local suppliers to ensure we have the freshest seasonal produce available."
