The allows customers and prospects to find out more about the car brand and offers access to driving events, insider news and tailored offers.
Club Seat's infrastructure was developed and built by Cello Group company Tangible Data. It supplied a single platform system that interfaces with the website front end and comprises the database, database hosting, email communications, lead management, web analytics and business reporting.
The system is constantly updated in real time from customer interactions on the website and is also fed with data from other channels.
Tangible Data passed Volkswagen Group's stringent security audit first time. Volkswagen prizes the security of its customer data above everything and tests all possible points of entry for unwanted access, system hacking and penetration.
The Club Seat project involved the co-operation of several parties including Seat's web agency, VWG's Information Systems department and Tangible Data to ensure effective delivery.
Andy Guy, Seat UK direct marketing manager, said: "We are thoroughly impressed with Tangible Data. Their outstanding contribution to the successful implementation of the Club Seat programme has been superb."
"This is a really significant project for us and, thanks to fantastic co-operation between all involved, we have been able to go from concept to delivery in just three months -- a great team effort."
