With Balfour at the helm returning from her maternity leave, Tangible Data will deliver data expertise through localised management to Scottish clients, which have included Standard Life and Tesco Personal Finance.
Tangible Data is part of Tangible Group, the direct communications arm of the Cello Group.
The company's product Magellan was launched earlier this year at the London Technology for Marketing & Advertising show. It allows marketers to integrate online and offline data for campaign management and customer relationship management programmes.
The programme will now be available in Scotland along with the technical expertise for bespoke installation, project management and client training.
The news follows the recent promotion of former client services director Janet Snedden to managing director of Tangible Data's head office in Cirencester and founder Nigel Magson stepping up to the role of chairman.
