Next year will be the 101st show and the show takes place from 20 March - 13 April at Earls Court.
"The theme of the Ideal Home Show for 2009 is ‘improving rather than moving' and we will be showcasing the many ways that EDF Energy can help visitors to achieve this aim through energy efficiency and innovative products which can help people to save today and save tomorrow," said EDF Energy brand director Martin Stead.
Visitors can enjoy live demonstrations within the Celebrity Chef Kitchen Theatre and the new Smarter Living Showcase area, a forum featuring the latest thinking in household goods.
