The tattoo exhibition will be extended by two days and will showcase tattoo artists from around the world, as well as graffiti demonstrations and workshops by some of the UK's best; BMX and skateboard demonstrations by European champions; an art gallery and the National Tattoo Photography Competition.

New feature areas will include ice sculpture demonstrations, an unplugged music stage and a body-painting zone.

Event manager Shelley Bond said: "We were overwhelmed with the success of Tattoo Freeze 2010 and have taken the decision to expand and grow much earlier due to this. I have received a lot of interest from people wanting to be part of it, so we have a great deal more going on. We are filling all three halls of the International Centre."
