The space is part of Telford Town Park owned by Telford and Wrekin Council, and the first client signed up to use the space is the Mobility Show in June 2013.
Tom Gray, chief executive of the Southwater Event Group, which owns the TIC, said the team was very excited about acquiring use of outdoor space.
"To add 10 acres of outdoor event space is great news as it opens up incredible opportunities when combined with our venue’s facilities. A new entrance has been created linking the venue to the10-acre arena making the space easily accessible for organisers and delegates."
TIC has recently carried out a multi-million pound extension programme to create an additional 1300sqm event suite and breakout rooms.
This investment is part of the wider £250m development between Southwater Event Group and Telford & Wrekin Council to create a conference quarter outside the venue.
