Jordan set to make £1m after public tires of flirty antics

LONDON - Jordan could stand to make more than £1m from her appearance on ITV1's 'I'm a Celebrity...' in advertising work and other endorsements even after her shock eviction from the show at the weekend.

Jordan, who was an early favourite to win 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', was the public's choice to go on Saturday. She followed Alex Best, who was evicted from the jungle camp on Friday.

Advertising executives are hoping to sign up both Jordan and John Lydon, who walked out of the show last week of his own accord. Until his exit he had been joint favourite to win with Jordan.

With Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten the lead singer of the Sex Pistols, and Jordan gone the bookies' favourite is now former Atomic Kitten Kerry McFadden.

McFadden showed her popularity by going on to survive Sunday's public vote, which saw Lord Brocket go, leaving McFadden to face off against Peter Andre and Jenny Bond, the former BBC royal correspondent who will not have been sorry to see convicted fraudster Lord Brocket go. The two had been rowing after she made remarks about his "moneyed background". The series finale will be broadcast live tonight.

However, the three remaining contestants are thought to have less appeal to advertisers than the two most high-profile contestants who have stolen all of the headlines during their time in the jungle -- Lydon for his humour and his use of foul language and Jordan for flirting with Peter Andre and flashing her 34FF comical breasts in front of the camera.

A spokesman for ITV1 said: "We have been bombarded with requests for Lydon from production companies and the media, which we have passed on to his agent."

On exiting the jungle, Jordan told presenters Ant and Dec that she expects to be dumped by her boyfriend Scott Sullivan after her on-screen behaviour with Andre. The two kissed and cuddled helping to ratchet up viewing figures.

Jordan finally called time on their flirting after becoming angry that it was a tactic employed by Andre in order to win the show.

Jordan's agent is also reporting he has been inundated with offers and that she is on course to earn at least the £1m-plus that 'Changing Rooms' presenter Linda Barker has managed to rack up since being a finalist in last year's series, which was won by former cricketer Phil Tufnell.

On her exit on Friday Alex Best, the estranged wife of Manchester United legend George Best, blamed Bond for her losing the public vote. She said that Bond hijacked her bush tucker trial to win public sympathy.
