While many of Jordan's liaisons have been made public, notably her affair with footballer Dwight Yorke resulting in the birth of her son Harvey, Lampard had managed to keep the fling a secret -- until now.
Jordan's revelations have left ITV editors in a quandary as to how much they can air. The network could find itself in legal trouble if libellous allegations are made.
The revelations about Lampard were broadcast but with sounds covering his name. However, this was not enough to keep the player out of the News Of The World, which splashed with the story. The celebrities in the jungle have adopted the habit of whispering and covering their microphones when telling secrets but the sound is often still picked up.
She has also told contestants that she plans to write a chapter in her book about David Beckham, whom she has met once. Beckham's wife, Victoria, is reported to have an intense dislike of Jordan and Jordan told others: "If someone upsets me I believe you can get them back. This particular wife has slated me and hated me. We'll see who has the smile on their face then."
John Lydon remains the bookies' favourite to win the show and continues to provide many of the programme's highlights. However, he is growing frustrated with other contestants and shows signs that he might not last until the end. Jordan is the bookies' second favourite to win with Diane Modhal tipped as the most likely to be evicted this evening.
Jordan and former Atomic Kitten star Kerry McFadden earned the respect of their fellow contestants by winning seven meals during a gruesome bush tucker trial, in which the pair ate green ants, bush cockroaches, meal worms and a witchety grub.
