EDigitalResearch launches consumer feedback research tool

LONDON - Online research firm eDigital Research has launched an application that enables its clients to record consumer feedback on their products and services and use positive reviews to build word-of-mouth marketing.

Called, EProductRating, the application collates consumer-generated content from the internet and can also be programmed to create automated star ratings for products.

Responses are collected and automatically analysed within the eProductRating application. The resulting analysis can then be fed to clients' product and marketing teams.

Michelle Fuller, director at eDigitalResearch, said: "Word-of-mouth has always been recognised as a powerful tool in any form of retail, and with the rapid expansion of Web 2.0 in its various forms, it can now be fully exploited online.

"EproductRating allows e-retailers to react to genuine free expression from their target audience. The subsequent analysis and automatic ratings also allow for immediate appraisal of product progress."

EdigitalResearch has worked for brands including the BBC, BT, B&Q, Microsoft and John Lewis. It has developed five online research tools including eProductRating, eMysteryShopper and eCustomerOpinions.
