The company, which reported an almost in pre-tax profits last month, was awarded the new contract following a recent preferred caterer review by the venue. Seasoned Events has said it will cater for the majority of the venue's events as part of the move.

Colin Sayers, managing director of Seasoned Events, said: "The Bloomsbury Ballroom is a wonderfully unique events venue and we are very excited about our brand new partnership and looking forward to organising many exciting events in the future."

The Bloomsbury Ballroom is situated within Victoria House, a 1920s location in central London, and includes two separate lounge bars featuring original chrome detail, marble stonework and high ceilings.

The venue can accommodate 880 guests for a reception or party, 300 guests for dinner and 250 guests for a dinner dance.

Terry Pullen, chief executive of The Bloomsbury Ballroom, said: "We are complimented to be working with such a well respected industry company as part of our broad offer to satisfy both corporate and private clients bespoke event solutions."
