The Bloomsbury Ballroom appoints sales and marketing director

The Bloomsbury Ballroom has recruited consultant Jason Scott as its sales and marketing director, where he will be tasked with bringing high-profile events and high-end clients to the 1920s Art Deco-styled venue.

Scott was previously at restaurant group Caprice Holdings. The Bloomsbury Ballroom, located in central London, caters for 880 people standing, 220 cabaret-style, 500 theatre-style and 330 for a dinner or banquet and has recently hosted events for Hermes, The British Fashion Council, Barclays and Nokia. 

He said: "I hope to make a huge success with my time at The Bloomsbury Ballroom and progress it to the next stage with my amazing team. I believe this to be an amazing opportunity to work with some very experienced event professionals"

The venue has also welcomed new caterers on board, including Urban Caprice, Recipe, Purple Grape Catering and Rocket Food.
