The event, which is organised in-house and branded as a ‘celebration of shopping and style’, will take place primarily across Oxford Street and Regent Street, as well as South Molton Street, Brook Street and St Christopher’s Place.
Brands signed up to participate include Burberry, Polo Ralph Lauren, Browns, Michael Kors and Jaeger. Department stores in the area will also be putting on a show, with a DJ set and special appearance from designer Henry Holland at Liberty, YSL makeovers and magazine cover-style photoshoots at House of Fraser and a talk with designer Erdem Moralioglu at Selfridges.
Alexandra Shulman, British editor of Vogue, said: "After successfully transplanting the initiative to Manchester last year to share the experience with a new audience, we’re returning Fashion’s Night Out to London, focusing on Oxford Street and Regent Street in recognition of all the new retail activity.
"We’re looking forward to thousands of shoppers joining us in the great mix of department stores, high street and designer brands."
Last year’s event saw 164 retailers surrounding Manchester’s Exchange Square take part in events activities, doubling the football in the city centre. It also took place in 28 cities across the globe, including Sydney, Beijing, St Petersburg and Istanbul.
British Vogue first launched Fashion’s Night Out in 2009, in a bid to celebrate fashion and boost retail sales amidst the global recession.
