The Nestlé Waters-owned company is working with the international training centre for Italian cuisine, Alma, to shortlist ten candidates from 20 countries to enter into Young Chef 2015.
Each chef will be judged on their selection of ingredients, technical skill, creativity, presentation and personal vision. The ten selected competitors from the UK and Ireland will deliver their dishes to a jury of unconfirmed celebrity chefs, who will decide which entrant will go on to compete at Expo Milano 2015.
The competition will also incorporate S Pellegrino’s 2015 partnership with Vogue Italia. The magazine promises to add an element of fashion flair to the contest by partnering an up-and-coming fashion designer to each of the 20 finalists to interpret the chefs’ signature dishes through design.
The UK's live event will be created by Stir PR, which will also be partnering with international agencies for the Milanese final.
