Vogue Festival is set to return on 21-22 May, and will be sponsored by Harrods for the third year running. Alongside the Vogue Hub, the brand has also secured the Royal Geographic Society as a venue for the event’s talks.
The festival weekend will wrap with a special 100th birthday dinner, which will also take place on East Albert Lawn on 23 May.
Agency Timebased is working with Vogue to stage the event.
Another big experience lined up for the centenary celebrations is the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition, sponsored by designer Leon Max. Curated by Robin Muir, and designed and directed by Patrick Kinmonth, the 'immersive and imaginative' collection will be housed in London’s National Gallery from 11 February to 22 May, followed by Manchester Art Gallery from 24 June to 30 October.
The exhibit will showcase a 100-year catalogue of fashion photography commissioned for Vogue from the Condé Nast archive.
Other centenary plans include a book publication entitled Vogue: Voice of a Century, a special Lightbox-produced BBC Two documentary series, and the release of a special anniversary magazine, which will be supported by a print and digital outdoor advertising campaign.
Stephen Quinn, publishing director of Vogue, said: "The 100th anniversary of Vogue truly is a thrilling moment in our publishing history, and we are delighted to have the brand in such good shape across multiple platforms and with varied touchpoints for the next 100 years and beyond."
