LONDON - The surprise departure of GMG's Carolyn McCall has dominated the headlines this week, but her impending switch to easyJet wasn't the only high-profile change, as Brand Republic rounds up the week's people moves in advertising, digital, marketing and media.

Mike Spicer has left EHS 4D Group, where he was group managing director, following a restructure giving constituent agency heads more power. Spicer, who joined EHS in July 2008, will not be replaced. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Profero London has appointed Matt Everitt, a group account director at SapientNitro, as its managing director. Everitt replaces Nick Blunden, who was promoted to chief executive earlier this year following the departure of the European chief executive, Daniele Fiandaca. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Ian Millner, founder and global chief executive of Iris Worldwide, is to relocate to Asia as the agency focuses on growing markets in South East Asia, India, Australia and China. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Marketing

Royal Mail brand director Tom Hings is leaving the company at the end of the month without a job to go to. Hings, who first joined the postal operator seven years ago, reports to director of marketing services Luisa Fulci. ()

Media

Carolyn McCall, chief executive of Guardian Media Group, is leaving the publisher to become the new boss of low-cost airline easyJet. A firm date for her departure has yet to be announced, as are plans to appoint a successor, but she will take up her new appointment later in the year. ()

Steve Cox, former marketing director of Titan Outdoor, has left JCDecaux following its purchase of the Titan assets and the integration of former Titan staff into the outdoor media company. Cox joined Titan Outdoor as marketing director in June 2008. ()

The Lady, the 125-year-old women's weekly, has hired Spitfire Consultancy's marketing director Helen Robinson to head its sales department. Robinson will be responsible for raising the magazine's profile and selling partnerships and sponsorships to agencies. ()
