Online ad network Adconion Media Group has promoted Matthew Hunt to the role of managing director, following the departure of Mike James last year. Hunt joined Adconion in November 2007 to lead the post-merger integration of Tempest Media. ()
The UK Online Measurement Company has appointed consultant James Smythe to the position of general manager. Smythe replaces Peter Bowman, who left the role in January. Smythe, who runs his own market research consultancy called Culture of Insight, reports to chairman of UKOM Douglas McArthur. ()

Michelle McEttrick has been appointed as chief marketing officer for Global Retail Banking (GRB) at Barclays. McEttrick, who previously headed up the Barclays account at incumbent ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), will report to Deanna Oppenheimer, vice-president for GRB. ()
Lorraine Fraser, the marketing director for Trinity Mirror's national newspaper division, is set to leave the company after just eight months. Fraser's expected departure follows a review of the marketing operations of the Daily Mirror, the Sunday Mirror and The People, and Trinity's two Scottish titles, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail. ()

WPP out-of-home agency Kinetic Worldwide has promoted global chief operating officer, Steve Ridley, to the role of global chief executive. Ridley replaces Kinetic founder Eric Newnham, who is stepping up to become the agency's first global chairman. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)
Aegis has promoted Jerry Buhlmann, the global chief executive of its media-buying division Aegis Media, to Aegis Group chief executive.
