The event, which begun on Saturday (28 September), was produced and managed by Lemon Zest Events on behalf of Retail Birmingham. It involved six catwalk shows hosted at Birmingham Town Hall showcasing the latest autumn/winter collections, presented by TV personalities Emma Willis and Rylan Clark.

Lauren Lambert, the season nine winner of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model also made a special appearance on the catwalk.

The day also included Style on the Side taking place after each catwalk show and hosted by Willis and Clark alongside special guest Brix Smith-Smart, who has featured on Channel 4 show Gok’s Fashion Fix. The trio discussed their favourite outfits featured within the catwalk show, with Brix talking through the audience’s fashion dilemmas and questions offering expert advice.

Style Birmingham Live was designed by the Retail Birmingham Business Improvement District (BID) to promote and raise the profile of the city centre’s retail offering and encourage footfall into the city.

Steve Hewlett, BID manager at Retail Birmingham, said: "Style Birmingham Live proved once again to be a spectacular success, selling out as a ticketed event with 337,000 reported visitors to the city on 28 September alone and a 35% increase in footfall on the Saturday when compared to last year’s event.

"Retail Birmingham has received very positive feedback from both major and independent retailers, all reporting higher Saturday sales figures and footfall into store as a direct result of the show.

"Feedback from ticketholders through social media and coverage in the local media has been extremely positive, with the hosts and the snow scene in particular proving very popular and highly photographed."
