The NEC Group catering business was awarded the contract following a six-way tender process. It will include catering for all commercial hire events, as well as the creation of a range of exclusive Town Hall signature menus.
The Grade I listed building is managed with Birmingham's Symphony Hall by charity Performance Birmingham, and has previously hosted a range of events including conferences, gala dinners, awards ceremonies, catwalk shows, drinks receptions and film screenings.
Kevin Watson, managing director of Amadeus, said: "This is a significant win for Amadeus and we are pleased to be adding yet another landmark city centre venue to our portfolio.
"We already hold the catering contracts for the NIA and the ICC Birmingham, so to be awarded the contract for another two of the most iconic buildings in the country’s second city, in the space of just a few months, is a huge triumph."
Before landing the Town Hall catering contract, Amadeus won a £2m contract for the newly refurbished Library of Birmingham.
Nick Loveland, director of operations at Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham, said: "We are thrilled to have Amadeus on board, having identified them as our ideal catering partner. We were looking for a caterer who could match up to the impressive surroundings of Town Hall by offering creative catering at the highest standard.
"Amadeus is renowned for the quality of its food offering, and this, coupled with its expertise in the catering industry, fills us with confidence that together we can deliver a unique world-class experience to new and existing clients."
