IPhone and iPod touch users that download the application from Apple's App Store will have access to the same features found on the Shazam Encore app, along with updated content related to (Red).
They will have access to unlimited song tagging, music recommendations and Shazam's music charts and will also be able to search music by artist, album or track.
The app costs £2.99, however 20% of the price will be donated to the Global Fund. (Red) funds are directed to HIV and Aids programmes in Africa.
Andrew Fisher, chief executive of Shazam, said: "(Red) enables consumers to positively impact the lives of those living with Aids in Africa through their purchases of products and we are incredibly honoured to be the first mobile app company to partner with them.
"Given our popularity and that we already have more than 10 million iPhone and iPod touch users around the world, (Shazam) Red is a powerful way for our audience to create real change in the world."
Shazam's association with (Red) places it in the company of several iconic brands including American Express, Apple, Bugaboo, Converse, Dell, Emporio Armani, Gap, Hallmark and Starbucks.
Seb Bishop, chief executive EMEA, (Red), said: "In the three years since (Red) launched, our partners and events have generated $140m for the Global Fund, 100% of which flows straight through to Aids programs in Africa.
"We're excited to expand our reach further with Shazam, one of the most recognized and exciting brands in the digital space."
