The Kent-based venue revealed the three-day show, taking place in its upper hall on 25-27 October, will target UK pet-loving consumers, with experts on hand to offer advice, and exhibits from retailers, breeders, clubs and associations, as well as pet services.
Visitors will also be able to interact with a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, fish, ponies and reptiles.
Michael Watton, venue director at Glow, said: "The launch of Pet Expo is another key milestone in what has been a great year so far for Glow. Pet Expo is the type of event at the core of Glow’s offer; a niche show that targets a specific consumer sector to deliver a unique experience.
"The show creates an additional reason to visit for Bluewater’s existing guests, as well as appealing to new consumers from across the South East and London."
Throughout Pet Expo 2013, event organisers will be promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, with advice available to visitors from vets, animal behaviourists and a number of specialist charities.
Other features of the show include a pets corner; interactive seminars from experts; an ‘Ask the Vet’ clinic; a daily fun dog show that visitors can enter; ‘Ask the Trainer’ sessions; a pet grooming showcase; and a range of competitions.
Marie Murphy, event director at Sherwood Media, added: "We are very excited to be making our debut at Glow. It is a great venue with a real sense of momentum.
"Its affinity with consumers throughout the South East is a key draw, as is the ease of access, the 13,000 free parking spaces, and the wider Bluewater offer, which is very complementary and allows Pet Expo visitors to make a day of it."
