Meanwhile, exhibitors were up to 97, from 75 at the first show, and Mercury Events' managing director Matt Miller said stand revenues had grown 40% between the two shows.
A third event is provisionally expected to take place at Glow on 11-13 October 2013, while the Baby and Toddler Show will make its north-west debut at Manchester’s Event City on 27-29 September 2013, starting a three-year tenancy at the venue.
Rob Collins, show director, said: "We are delighted with our second Baby and Toddler Show at Glow, which exceeded the high expectations set by its debut. We are growing each of our shows here in terms of both exhibitor participants and audience numbers, and that momentum is due in no small part to the quality of Glow as a venue, as well as its integration with Bluewater."
Glow opened at Bluewater in Kent in November 2011. Venue director Michael Watton added: "Glow is going from strength-to-strength, as the success of The Baby and Toddler Show highlights."
The Baby and Toddler Show is Mercury Events’ second show at Glow this year, following the Wedding Fair in February.
