The season kicks off with the Vintage Home Show on 16 March. Shoppers will be able to hunt for unique furniture, ceramics, textiles and lighting, before joining in with a tour of the building in the afternoon.
Other event highlights include the Independent Manchester Beer Convention, a Northern Soul all-night party and a musical tour of the baths as part of singer-songwriter Dave Carden’s one-man musical. Choirs and acappella groups will also take advantage of the venue’s impressive acoustics.
Monthly open days will give visitors the chance to explore the history and architecture of the Grade II listed building, and will be run in conjunction with a series of fairs specialising in books and collectables, arts and crafts and clothing and homeware.
Gill Wright, project manager of the Victoria Baths Trust, told Event: "Some of our notable events are initiated by outside bodies who we work with in partnership, such the Independent Manchester Beer Convention. They wanted to set up a different style of beer festival and chose Victoria Baths as it's a unique venue and adds to the experience for their guests.
"Other events are organised by us and we look to programme activities that appeal to a broad range of audiences."
The venue has revamped its event schedule to mark the tenth anniversary of its 2003 win of the BBC Two’s Restoration programme. Currently it operates purely as an event space, but the baths’ charity hopes to re-open the pool space to the public in the future.
