Macmillan Cancer Support viral reveals secrets of great sex after cancer

The viral, which can be viewed at , features a new-age sex expert promising to reveal the secrets of great sex and renewed intimacy after cancer. It is part of Macmillian Cancer Support's campaign to break the silence surrounding cancer's impact on sexual relationships.

The aim of the campaign is to get health professionals and patients to talk about the impact of cancer on sexual relationships and encourage people to visit the Macmillan website for information and support. The charity runs internet communities and forums with more than 30,000 registered users, which allow people affected by cancer to discuss issues such as sexual relationships with others in similar situations.

Macmillan surveyed 330 people affected by cancer during March 2009 and found that a third of those who said cancer had affected their relationship said they felt unable to talk to their partner about it. One in seven even said they separated permanently as a result of the cancer's impact.
