As part of the partnership, which will run from May 2009 to April 2010, Nestle employees will aim to raise £250,000 to help the charity provide more nursing care at home for terminally-ill patients.

Activity will include a host of fundraising initiatives including encouraging employees to bring in unwanted to goods to be sold in Marie Curie charity shops, as well as sponsored walks and sports days.

Marie Curie's partnership with Tesco raised £6.1m for the charity last year.
