The forum, which launches next month, will be chaired by ISES member and Live Union’s creative strategy director Jez Paxman. It aims to help those involved with creative events to share ideas, make connections, promote their skills and work and attract creative graduates to the event industry.
Paxman said: "The UK event sector is world famous for its creativity, yet the creatives at its heart have no dedicated forum through which to meet, share inspiration or promote their discipline.
"It’s great that ISES is providing an opportunity for us to change this. The forum will be for a broad church of designers, writers, strategists and creative directors."
Jane Hague, ISES UK president, added: "ISES represents the creative events professional and we’re always on the lookout for new avenues and ideas to educate, represent and bring the industry closer together. We’re delighted to be working with Jez and our membership to launch this valuable initiative."
The Event Creatives Forum has already received support from a number of agencies including Imagination, Fisher Productions, Smyle and George P Johnson.
