Held in conjunction with Britain for Events, the summit will host 20 of the biggest names in the events industry. It is taking place on 29 May at The Athenaeum in Mayfair.

The meeting will focus on the export of the British creative events industry internationally.

Philip Atkins, president of ISES UK, told Event: "After the Olympics and the world’s eyes being on the UK, the idea is to look in more detail at the UK events industry."

He noted the remit of ISES this year is to promote UK creative event professionals and companies on an international scale.

The first E20 was held at the Natural History Museum in 2009. Attendees this year are expected to include government advisors from UK Trade and Investment and event exporters.

The aim is for an agenda to be agreed on by all parties that will create a strategy to promote the export of UK events talent.

Atkins added: "Following the success of a mega-event year in 2012, industry confidence is high. So is the global awareness of British creativity in events. This opportunity cannot be missed."
