The two businesses will work on the contract together, worth an estimated combined turnover in excess of £4m, and will introduce new food and drink concepts for the event from July 2014.

The partnership between The Fine Food Company and Creativevents began in 2011 with a five-year public catering contract for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Caroline Hills, head of shows operations at RHS, said: "Creativevents and The Fine Food Company continue to demonstrate their understanding of our visitors and have proposed catering concepts with the quality, style and creativeness that our visitors have come to expect of a world-class show.

"We’re very excited to be working with them again to build on the success of the past three years."

As part of the contract The Fine Food Company and Creativevents will manage three main food zones catering for more than 150,000 visitors. It will include a new street food-themed area as well as pop-up outlets such as a champagne and seafood bar, wine and Pimms bars and artisan coffee bars.

Adrian Willson, managing director of Creativevents, said: "It is fantastic to earn this kind of recognition for our creative, high-quality ideas. Our close working relationship with The Fine Food Company has enabled us to deliver a truly bespoke food experience which delivers real value for money to a very discernible customer."

Rob Tame, managing director of The Fine Food Company, added: "Our expertise at cooking to order while coping with high volumes but with premium concepts comes from our wide ranging experience with a variety of audiences and attractions.

"We work very hard to deliver a unique event experience for our client and customers and both companies are committed to animal welfare, sustainability and sourcing good local ingredients."
