
The London caterers were invited to participate in a closed tender process, which resulted in four existing suppliers retaining a place. Harbour & Jones Events, By Word of Mouth, Inn or Out and Create Food and Party Design are joined by four new suppliers - Food by Dish, Seasoned Events, The Recipe and Table Talk.
Rosie Day, corporate events manager at St Paul’s Cathedral, said the new list provided a range of budgets and styles for clients.
"We chose our list based on their enthusiasm for St Paul’s Cathedral as a spectacular events venue, working cathedral and iconic London landmark," she explained. "We were also impressed by their partnership approach to marketing and their proactive social media strategies."
Day said that 2013 had been the most successful year to-date for events at St Paul’s with the venue 28% up on budget, and hoped that the new partnerships would create greater success in 2014.
St Paul’s has five event spaces that can cater for receptions of up to 350 people.
