Riddell will be responsible for expanding EuroDirect's client base and aiding businesses with their customer recruitment and management strategies.
He has 10 years experience in data and direct marketing, and has worked with a number of blue-chip companies, including Laura Ashley, Thomas Cook, Standard Life and WH Smith.
EuroDirect said Riddell's strength was in ensuring that clients exploit their data assets and attracting business partners. He was also UK business manager of barcode systems at pricing gun manufacturers Esselte Meto.

In July, EuroDirect released the latest version of its marketing intelligence software package Microvision.
