Cameo Scotland classifies the Scottish population at postcode level into 46 consumer types and 10 key marketing groups.
The groups include: 1A - Wealthy couples and singles in executive apartments; 2B - Affluent couples and older families in large exclusive properties; 4E - Young white collar couples and singles in affluent urban apartments; and 10C: Couple and singles in poor quality high-rise council flats.
It has been built using data from a wide range of sources, including Scottish subsets of the UK Census and individual and household level datasets such as shareholder registers, council tax band data, property valuations, directorships and CCJs.
EuroDirect already offers Cameo for the UK and 30 other countries including most of Europe, the US and Japan.
