Engine introduces the electricity provider's Smart Pay As You Go technology in a light-hearted TV ad.

The spot opens on an E.ON staffer explaining to a customer that he can check his energy usage and pay for it whenever and wherever he likes using the app. It then drills home the E.ON app’s versatility by showing the customer paying his bills in a series of bizarre environments – such as at a séance and in a maternity ward while his wife is giving birth. The work was created by Richard Nott, David Dearlove, Carole Eppleston and Helen Sharp, and directed by Sam Hibbard through Somesuch.
