eBay adapts mobile service for iPhone

LONDON - eBay has made its mobile application available for iPhone and iPod Touch users in the UK following its US launch.

eBay adapts mobile service for iPhone

The free eBay Mobile applications enable users of the Apple devices to bid, buy and pay for items directly.

The auction site said its mobile shoppers spend more per person than the average eBay user, place the winning bid more often than other buyers, and are buying hundreds of thousands of items each month through their phones.

The eBay Mobile application offers immediate access to search and listings, plus the ability to view activity on watched items and zoom in on listing photos
