- Describe yourself in three words: Ambitious, imaginative, level-headed.

- How would you define marketing?

Effectively communicating to a targeted audience in a way that engages them to spend their wages on Kettler products.

- What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?

Singer/songwriter (marketing is my back-up plan).

- What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career today?

Work very hard, understand business as well as marketing, don't be afraid to voice your opinion.

- What attracted you to your current job?

Great products and concepts, with endless marketing opportunities.

- What was your first job?

I worked in a pickle factory.

- How did you get your first job?

Friend of a friend.

- What hobbies do you have?

I play guitar and piano; occasionally play at open-mic nights and weddings. I also embarrass myself on the football pitch once a week.

- What makes you angry?

Rudeness, and the Meerkat. Or people impersonating the Meerkat.

- If you weren't you, who would you be?

(Musician) Alex Turner or (Facebook creator) Mark Zuckerberg.

- What's your favourite pub?

The White Horse in Leamington Spa.

- If you were a brand, what would you be and why?

Spotify - innovative and still improving.

- What's your greatest ambition?

To have a number-one album.

- What is your all-time favourite slogan?

'Just do it' - Nike.

- If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be?

A ticket to see The Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1965 please.

- What was your finest hour?

I'm still waiting for it.

- If you had three wishes, what would they be?

Health, wealth and a less embarrassing car.

- What have been your best and worst freebies?

Organic Chinese tea was quite nice.

- What headline would you most like to read in Marketing?
