Brand manager of the week: Heather Mills, Marketing executive, LOCOG

- Describe yourself in three words: Competitive, professional, conscientious.

- How would you define marketing?

In an organising committee bubble, it's about driving nationwide support for the Games through iconic campaigns with one-off products - volunteering, torch relay, mascots, tickets. Marketing in the real world? I'll have to get back to you on that.

- What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?

Green & Black's organic-chocolate taster.

- What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career today?

Be willing to start at the bottom; never give up an opportunity to learn; work with team spirit and ambition.

- What attracted you to your current job?

It was more than attraction - it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

- What was your first job?

Sailing instructor.

- What hobbies do you have?

Playing basketball, sailing.

- What makes you angry?

Emails. Just pick up the phone.

- What's your favourite holiday destination?

Tuscany, Italy.

- What's your favourite pub?

I live in Buckinghamshire, so it would have to be the local, with a pint of Strongbow. Classy.

- What other languages do you speak?

None.

- If you were a brand what would you be and why?

Green & Black's. It's what keeps me going each day.

- What's your greatest ambition?

To be the best I can possibly be.

- If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be?

London 2012 - the greatest show on earth. I'll be applying along with the rest of the public.

- What was your finest hour?

Working on the campaign that inspired 250,000 people to apply to be a volunteer for the Games.

- What have been your best and worst freebies?

I thought nothing in life was free. I haven't had any marketing freebies yet - point me in the right direction.

- What headline would you most like to read in Marketing?

'The power of London 2012 lives on to inspire the nation.'
