Blinkx extends offering with internet TV channel

SAN FRANCISCO - Blinkx, the video search engine, is adding internet TV channel service Pyro.TV to its searchable index.

will now give users access to thousands of video channels, ranging from mainstream broadcast programming to niche channels, after forging a deal with the owners of -- the Vibe Solutions Group.

Blinkx has already indexed over 12m hours of audio, video, viral and TV content, from more than 150 partners. This latest addition will expand the company's offering in the TV-on-demand sector.
