Zurich appoints Experian for database marketing

LONDON - Insurance company Zurich has appointed data services company Experian to help it manage mailing campaigns targeting its existing and prospective UK customers.

Zurich will use Experian's Fusion database service to create and plan its direct marketing campaigns.

Experian Fusion is an online hosted 'pay as you go' database and campaign management tool, suitable for companies that have mailing lists of more than 10m contacts a year.

The service will allow Zurich to centrally manage all its campaign work.

Mark Searles, Zurich UK's chief marketing officer, said: "[Experian's] technology and data insight will also allow us to engage with prospects and customers on a one-to-one level and will mean that we can actively respond to the changing market place."
