The news was revealed last night (2 April) at The Brewery in London for the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards Showcase, organised in-house by Opportunity Now, which was attended by more than 500 guests.
Companies were required to demonstrate how gender equality is an integral part of their business strategies, and how consistent commitment to progressing women in the workplace covers the entire organisation, as opposed to isolated areas.
This was the second year Zibrant has been recognised in the list, with the first occasion being in 2012. Fay Sharpe, managing director of Zibrant, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled that we’ve been recognised as one of The Times’ 50 top employers for women this year. As an industry, we have a huge number of talented females and it’s important that these women have the opportunity to progress within the workplace.
"At Zibrant, we’ve found it essential to recognise that male and female employees often require support in different areas, and try to provide a flexible environment to reflect this. This has meant that talented individuals – regardless of gender – have been able to progress within the company."
The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list is collated in partnership with Opportunity Now, a campaign on gender diversity from business-led charity Business in the Community.
