Mark Rose, operations director of Zibrant Live, said: "We delivered a large event in the UK for Lenovo earlier this year, and on the success of that we have secured some more business on a global platform. We’re just about to start on a new project – it’s a global launch that will be happening this year."

Rose told Event he believed Zibrant Live's success with the blue-chip firm is down to its multi-channel, creative approach. He continued: "We’re really offering them an exciting and different approach. They’ve bought into our creative, production, technical, web development and animation teams."

Zibrant Live's first project with Lenovo was the company’s UK channel partner event, held at St George's Park, Staffordshire, in February. The venue’s connections with the British Football Association inspired the theme, and Zibrant Live deisgned and produced everything from the registration system to the client exhibition area.

The events company is now fully involved in Lenovo’s marketing mix, as Rose explained: "They’re not just coming to us with a budget, they want to consult with us to plan the next 15 months with their sales, PR and marketing teams. It’s a really great place for us to be in."

A successful partnership with Lenovo has been followed by a new contract with Toyota, following a pitching process. Alex James, Zibrant Live’s client services director, told Event: "As part of our pitching approach, we look to get under-the-skin of a prospective client’s brief and ensure that we tailor our approach to meet the specific demands and challenges presented.

"We placed heavy emphasis on a creative, client-focused approach and had the advantage of having a high-quality and experienced team bursting with innovative and dynamic ideas."

While keeping details of what was to come with the car manufacturer under wraps, James confirmed the contract involves producing three press launches.

He said: "I can affirm that one of these has taken place, one is currently underway and there is another one planned for later in the year. They will showcase new and facelift products of the Lexus and Toyota brands."
