Produced by experiential agency Whynot! on behalf of the Malaysian Trade Commission 'Matrade', the Malaysian Kitchen will appear in Selfridges stores in London, Birmingham and Mancheste and see appearances from top chefs as well as Malaysian products.

The move follows the success of the kitchen at this summer’s Taste of London event.

"It is very exciting seeing Malaysian food showcased in this way; there is definitely a new-found interest in Malaysian cooking as well as restaurants," said Whynot! managing director Stuart Knight.

"A number high-profile chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Rick Stein and Atul Kochhar have really embraced Malaysian food, and with the likes of the Selfridges programme we really feel that the UK is turning on to the varied and dynamic dishes on offer."
