Whynot! announces restructure and launches experiential agency

Agency Whynot! has launched Trigger thinkpeople, a stand alone experiential agency, as well as announcing a business restructure.

Trigger is aimed at meeting an increase in demand for experiential services and is one of five agency brands housed under the 'thinkpeople' family.

The other brands include newly-launched production house The Assembly thinkpeople, Whynot! thinkpeople - providing shopper marketing services, Focus thinkpeople - providing data services and The Forum thinkpeople, which works with start-ups.

Speaking to Event, Stuart Knight, managing director at Trigger thinkpeople and The Assembly thinkpeople said: "This is not so much a rebrand as an evolution and development of our existing core business structure. We work with a number of FMCG and blue chip clients and over the course of the last few years have recognised the increase in the requirement for experiential and event-based services and solutions."

Knight added that experiential has very much become an essential part of the agency's business offering, and that the agency is investing across the group in greater resources and experience that links shopper, experiential and insight. 

"The launch of Trigger thinkpeople and The Assembly thinkpeople is our power house that will enable the production of great events to happen," he said. "Trigger thinkpeople is an extension and progression of the experiential department of the Whynot! thinkpeople business."
