Stag, hen and corporate party supplier , but founders Nick and Chris Simms also own a firm called The UK Activity Company which they set up on 10 June this year.
The new firm, which does not appear to have an active website, is registered in Poole, Dorset, not far from Weekends Direct's former home in Bournemouth.
When Event tried to contact Nick Simms on a number previously used by the founder the person who answered said it was "the wrong number". Both Nick and Chris Simms have remained uncontactable by Event magazine.
