Jackson Gilmour and The Recipe have been added to The Wallace Collection's list after a competitive tender process in December 2012. They join Alison Price & Company, Blue Strawberry, By Word of Mouth, Mustard, Peyton Events, Rhubarb, Rocket Food and Zafferano who have all been retained.
The Admirable Crichton, Create, Mosimann’s and William Norris & Co are no longer on the list.
As the Wallace Collection is a national museum and a historic house, only approved suppliers can be used for events.
Elisa Barton, head of events at the Wallace Collection, told Event: "In terms of criteria, we were looking first and foremost for caterers with experience working in a historic venue such as ours. However, we also wanted to select companies with creative menus and a high level of service to satisfy our corporate and private clients."
The museum has various spaces for hire, including galleries and a glazed contemporary couryard set against the 18th-century architecture of Hertford House which holds the museum's collection.
Anne Aitken, marketing director at Jackson Gilmour, said: "This news is a great start to 2013 for us and we are really looking forward to working in this amazing venue. As you enter the building it feels like a luxurious private house but as you move through to the airy glass-roofed courtyard, you discover an additional space which is a contemporary blank canvas."
