Grazing hires new operations director

Caterer Grazing has taken on Rob Dorey from Restaurant Associates as its operations director.

Dorey was previously general manager of food and beverages at Restaurant Associates, overseeing all outlets at London’s Cumberland Hotel, including Gary Rhodes' Michelin-starred restaurant.

He previously worked as general manager for Company of Cooks, overseeing the caterer’s food and beverage outlets at Wisley Garden in Surrey.

Grazing is based in the City of London and provides event catering across the South East. The company launched in 2007 and works with clients including event planners, venues and film crews.

Sam Hurst, founder of Grazing and who met Dorey while working at the Little Nell Hotel in Colorado, said: "As the business continues to grow, we will offer both current and new clients irresistible temptations to Graze. Rob is a natural team builder and leader who I know will make an invaluable contribution."
