Vodafone appoints Lee Epting to branded content director role

Epting has joined Vodafone to lead the roll out of branded services for portal, music, video on demand, superstore and retail activity.

Epting replaces Javier Foncillas, who was on assignment to Vodafone Group from Vodafone Spain to handle the role temporarily. Foncillas set up the branded content team, launching the Vodafone music proposition and evolving Vodafone Live! into a web 2.0 portal.

At Nokia, Epting developed the Download! Service, an online portal for branded content and applications to over 100 million devices globally, and launched Mosh, a user generated content service focused at providing free content to mobile phone users.
