The company's mobile broadband is available on an 18-month contract and allows users to connect to the internet through the mobile phone network, using a USB modem.
Virgin Media will charge users £15 per month for a data allowance of 3GB and £15 per GB thereafter.
The media group said 3GB is enough for 2,000 emails, 100 hours of web surfing, 200 music tracks and 100 two-minute videos.
Virgin Media has also created an online usage calculator at to help customers buy the right broadband package, according to whether they frequently surf the web at home or on the move.
Neil Berkett, chief executive of Virgin Media, said: "The launch of our Mobile Broadband product means UK consumers can now get all of their broadband needs from the UK's leading broadband expert.
"Virgin Media already provides the fastest broadband in the UK over our fibre optic network and now customers can enjoy our broadband both at home and when on the move."
Vodafone and Orange also offer mobile broadband at £15 for 3GB, while mobile operator 3 charges £15 for 5GB and O2 charges £20 for 3GB.
