On 1 November, Vevo Halloween will take over the ground floor space and mezzanine rea of Victoria Warehouse’s 5,000-capacity Room 1. Halloween-themed experiential activity, with a separate VIP bar currently in development, is also set to take place in the venue’s Room 3 event space.

The ticketed event will feature live performances from Ella Eyre, Gorgon City, Rixton and Sam Smith, while a special guest performer will also attend, soon to be announced, along with DJs throughout the night.

Victoria Warehouse’s in-house team, The Events Company UK, headed by Sam Newson, will work alongside Vevo to produce the immersive live concert experience, which features a ‘survivors versus zombies’ theme.

Faye Millar, head of brand and sales for Victoria Warehouse, said: "This event is Vevo’s first in Manchester, and the first time Vevo Halloween has been held outside London. We’re delighted to be their host and to work with them to produce their first large-scale event in the UK, especially with such an impressive, high-profile musical line-up."

Ed Walker, events production manager for Vevo, added: "We needed to find a space that could not only hold our fans, but also our production. With a 30-metre-wide, ten-metre-tall mechanical moving wall, and a stage measuring 27 metres by 17 metres, a lot of venues were instantly ruled out.

"We tend to steer clear of the typical touring circuit music venues, as these don’t offer our fans, or the content we produce, anything new. We are looking forward to working with the venue and all of our suppliers to bring a live music event to Manchester, the likes of which they have never seen before."

Vevo’s inaugural Halloween party took place in October 2013 in east London and included performances from Nina Nesbitt, Bastille, Iggy Azalea, John Newman and Lorde.
